Very expensive without reason.The only positive is the breakfast.Very far away from Monemvasia for someone who is interesting specially for Monemvasia

One of the most excellent places you have to stay when visiting Monemvasia. Yes, I know you always wanted to live inside the walls of a castle and yada-yada-yada, but this beautiful, exceptional inn is inside an olive tree garden, with Mountain View all around, used to be a house of one of the most famous poets not only in Greece, but worldwide too (Giannis Ritsos), has plenty of space -so you’re not crammed in a 15sq. meters hotel room- and accommodates your every need in terms of staff and cleanliness. A must visit, a must see, a must stay. Thanks Liotrivi, we WILL be back soon!!!

Amazing experience! Like being in Tuscany only better. Got a tour of the olive press and house by Anastasia. It’s a family run inn and restaurant whose owners are passionate and caring. Nestled in a town 15 minutes from Monemvasia, it’s not to be missed. Even is vegetarians were accommodated with a lovely salad and appetizers.

Brilliant. Lovely hospitality. Great home-based dishes. Music wonderful. Dancers fun. And the presentation was professional. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This is not Boutique hotel! And not at Monemvasia! Very bad cleaning- we found garbage at our room from previous guests! Breakfast disgusting - just bread, not eatable… also at dining room was a lot of bees. Staff is good and friendly, but facilities date and need to renew!

Liotrivi Boutique Hotel, is located in Velies, a beautiful village of Laconia (about 15 minutes drive from the castle of Monemvasia). We stayed 3 nights in mid-July and chose this hotel based on the guest reviews and the quiet location. The hotel is beautifully built and the rooms have a special aesthetic, perfectly harmonized with the surrounding area and the nature. We stayed in one of the superior rooms. The room was perfectly cleaned on our arrival. (every day at breakfast due to Covid-19 restrictions the personnel asked you if you wanted to let them clean the room and what time should they do it) Also, the decoration, the furniture as well as some small details (bottled water, mosquito repellent device, extra pillows, slippers, bathrobes, laundry bag) add value to your stay in the room and make it even more friendly and convenient. The hotel has spacious parking. Moreover, it is worth to mention that in all areas of the hotel, the staff was very careful and aligned with all the necessary measures for the Covid-19. We would like to make a special note for the staff. They were all incredibly helpful, polite and welcoming. Ideal choice to calm down and escape from the hustle and bustle of the crowd.
