★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food and excellent service, don’t be tempted to go across the road to Nikos, had booked a table there after eating there regularly and they said ten minutes, then couldn’t or wouldn’t assist, their attitude was shocking when we brought it to their attention.
Great experience at Locals , we can recommend it highly, will definitely go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place that we decided to go second time after trying another taverna in Vathi. Let me be fair there are plenty of similar tavernas with similar prices in the town but some little things can make the difference: 1) they serve nice toasted seasoned bread, not a plain one as many other places do 2) they house wine doesn't feel diluted. Food and service was good too. Portions are large so after ordering 2 mains the first time we decided to go with 1 main and 1 greek salad on the 2nd occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had several brillant meals here while my week on Ithaki in September 2021. All of the family, who run the restaurant, were very friendly. The grill dishes, the salad and starters I had were excellent. Thanks for making my stay better. The foto shows a big plate of roasted lamb, pork and chicken, even for me too big.
