★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first disappointment in Amorgos, especially surprising with all of the good reviews.
The Tzatziki we ordered was clearly from a large tub (you could even see that from how it had been dolloped on the plate, as was the aubergine dip. The stuffed tomatos had been reheated in the microwave, and were bland. The goat was quite tasty but only the boniest pieces of meat had been served resulting in a very small portion from a large looking amount, nothing like other places we've had on the island.
Service was friendly, but that can't make up for what was unfortunately very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed everything about our experience at Loudaros Tavern. From the food, to the staff, the ambience, the people, and all the locals; it was all great. Definitely worth the short trip up the hill to the village. This was a real highlight from our five days on Amorgos, coming to see the village and then spending about two hours lingering over dinner with so much of the town.
