★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apartments are clean and tidy, the pool is great and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. Great view of the sea from the balcony but it is some way away it must be said down a steep hill. Plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance and supermarkets too. The only downside is the self catering facilities are quite basic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not alot going on, however clean and tidy.
if I were to come back i would have to rent a car. There was nothing much around, a small bar near to swimming pool. But no reception area, not too sure who is in charge either . . no staff to speak to

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little place to stay, basic, clean, nice people, great pool and sunbathing area. Suggest you hire a car if you want to get about. Only one or two places to eat in walking distance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time been here (the first time stayed in older part), we were lucky to have both seaview and mountain view in new 1st fl apartment (but steepish hill from pool to get to it!), great shower room. Pool area is much better than u get in some apartments with a higher * rating, and less people/apartments to share it with too! Nescafe Frappes and drinks are good value. Its more geared up to eating out than self catering (kettle, fridge, hotplate only).
Obviously most only do the walk down to the beach once (and up! - much of Kefalonia is hilly but get great views in return) but there are 3 supermarkets and several restaurants on the same level about 5 mins walk - we liked La Mer) (and Enastron in Trapezaki if drive). If u walk up the track right by the appts you get to the main road, turn left and you will find a proper Greek coffeeshop/bar Cleios (well before the bakery) - with an amazing view of bay but with lots of shade, really friendly and time stops still. We hired our car (essential as buses few) from Greekstones again, and saw loads of kefalonia :
-St George's Fort has shady cafes after the hot Fort.
-Kafepolian has nice vibe for coffee en route to Argostoli (which we preferred at night, restaurants by Drapano Bridge nice breeze and views (food is average) - we spotted a turtle on first day.
-Makris sandy Beach get there early for waterside front sunbeds and umbrella (15 euro now)
-Antisamos stoney Beach free comfyist-ever sunbeds and umbrella if buy a drink
-kaminia Bay for gently sandy beach for kids
-Assos and Fiscardo, but avoid latter 11amto3pm when ferries arrive
