Το Λύκειο των Ελληνίδων Λάρισας τίμησε με τον τίτλο της Μεγάλης Ευεργέρτιδος και έδωσε το όνομα «Ζήνα Πατέρα» στη νέα αίθουσά του, μιας και αυτη η μεγαλη ηρωιδα- του επους '40, ως εθελοντρια νοσοκομα Ερυθρού Σταυρού- αντιλήφθηκε την ανάγκη για επέκταση του Λυκείου, κι έτσι διέθεσε ένα αξιοσέβαστο χρηματικό ποσό για το χτίσιμο και τον εξοπλισμό του α΄ ορόφου.
