The owner there (she) was very kind and knowledgable about the Greek history and tradition of olive oil, and explained things with a passion. We bought oils for ourselves and family. The owners, Areti & Constantine are real connoisseurs of the products on sale at the shop and I really enjoyed meeting them, by chance, earlier today ... and was thrilled that they made time to answer all my endless questions! ????? Apart from the olive oils, check out the giant Kalamata olives, Crème d'olives Kalamata, some very special cheeses, Italian prosciutto, Greek pies as well as the tempting Greek chocolates ... that are very nicely packaged too! ??? Definitely going back soon ... and I think I just found the store where I can buy this year's Xmas gifts for my special foodie friends! ??? 16 March 2022 Update! This shop continues to give its customers great service and this week they have an ongoing tasting if some of their outstanding Greek olive oils! See some photos! ??????

Shop owners were extremely kind and very helpful in assisting with any questions. They even provided free samples of the bottles we were interested in! Prices were reasonable, especially compared to touristy places around the Acropolis where you’d pay more for less good of a product. I will definitely visit again and would happily recommend this place to anyone!

In my opinion to have such a large number of suppliers is not a positive, rather it is a negative! Surely she is unable to test all of them let alone visit all her suppliers around Greece to see if they are not mixing other oils & whether they adhere to certain standards. The Potou olive oil was good (not fantastic but better than most olive oils at this price range in Athens) but the Ariti olive oil which supposedly is organic etc. was a total flop despite that its price was almost double. It had a smell of sunflower oil which is what I assume was the majority ingredient & it was stale which means it is not even useful for french fries. It is unfortunate that in the capital city of this ex-ottoman province (also known as Greece) it is impossible to find good quality olive oil at a reasonable price anywhere but that says a lot doesn't it...

The staff was attentive and very helpful. She was able to tell me about various products and make some great recommendations. You should stop in!
