Theokritos (Takis) Chatziris is Executive Vice President and C.F.O. at McCann Greece, managing the company’s financial strategy and operations. Takis is committed to maximizing long-term shareholder value and maintaining the high level of integrity for which McCann is known. He is also a member of the company’s Board of Directors
Takis joined McCann in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to McCann, he held managerial positions—and was a BoD member—in other business sectors, including the Dairy Industry (Fage S.A), Pharmaceutical Industry (Famar S.A) and Yellow Pages (GYP).
He spearheaded McCann’s transition from basic accounting systems to wholly integrated business and financial information systems, and increased the company’s profitability mainly through cost optimization. He also has great experience in the fields of finance, leadership and negotiations.
Takis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in International Economics, Banking and Finance from the University of Wales.
Outside of work, Takis loves to travel and enjoys swimming and running, having completed five classic marathons (yes, the 42km kind).
His motto is "Trust is more important than qualifications".
