★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The historical hotel Makedonia Palace is located on the waterfront of Thessaloniki, just 500m from the White Tower monument and 15' walking from the city center. It offers seamlessness view of the sea and Thermaikos bay if you choose a room with sea view. The entire hotel was renovated a few years ago. Very elegant rooms with minimal style that offer all the amenities. Beautiful lounge bar and a great restaurant that has won culinary prizes. Polite and professional staff. There are also a few other hotels in Thessaloniki situated in front of the sea but none of them has the tranquility and style of Makedonia Palace.

Besides the varied a la carte menu, Sundays benefit from an extended choice among traditional dishes, as well as some grilled lamb on the skew!
Of course food is priced according to five-star hotel standards, however the attentiveness and attitude of the staff is completing the overall perceived value!

The food and the drinks in the hotel is out of the moon. Top quality on everything.

The best staff, very polite, friendly and all of them with a smile and very professional. (Reception , waiters , waitresses).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited for a 3 night stay, mid February. It was our first time there, but we will visit again in the future, for sure. The position of the hotel is unique. The view (sea view room) was amazing. The service and the people working there, makes you feel like home. I didn't use the hammam this time. The management is definitely doing a good job. I love Thessaloniki because of my student years there. Now, we have a good reason to visit a couple of days every year. For me, Makedonia Palace hotel is the place to be, if you find yourself in the city. I will not refer to any disadvantages, because nothing was a deal breaker for me. There is always room for improvement. Congratulations to the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Makedonia Palace is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and eye-catching hotels in Thessaloniki. It enjoys a great location, close to the beach, in the center of the wonderful bay of Thessaloniki and close to a number of famous sites such as the White Tower of Thessaloniki, Alexander the Great Statue, Aristotelous Square and more. Its service is exceptional, its breakfasts are particularly rich, and in general the whole culinary issue is simply great (like Alexander...).
Bottom line, a great and highly recommended hotel for everyone who visits this magnificent city... Do not miss sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea, with a spectacular sunset!!

First, there was a great Team of professionals (Christina and Stavroula, just to mention two of them) that had smiles, great demeanor and positive attitude all the time, all the way! The food? Fantastic! The ambience? Wonderful. And amazing for my beautiful country Greece that there was an plentiful amount of Team members happily working and you never had to “look and find” someone. Oh, the desserts? One of kind. Bravo!
