★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traverse the precarious road from Velos to Makrinitsa to visit this lovely small town. Imagine what life is like after visitors have left for the day or season. Be sure to buy something that belongs to this place. I bought a sheaf of mountain tea, or ironwort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place but gets very crowdy especially weekends or during holidays. Will not visit definitely during these days( bad experience if you are COVID scared).Parking place is very small and you need a lot of luck to park close to where the stores are.
Police usually is there to prevent traffic jam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picturesque village with traditional houses spread “in stairs” on the mountain, so from each location we can see the sea and Volos city. Several good restaurants/coffee shops are there, but the most pleasant thing is the view over the Volos city and surrounding areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, the balcony of Pelion, great vibes, nice food, difficult to find parking space. Park your car earlier before and walk up to the village. You will find great souvenirs to buy, sweats, fruits and herbs.
