Great resort and child friendly. Quiet atmosphere at night. Villas are spaced out and sandy beach. Lots of facilities and friendly and helpfull service providers.

A very lovely & kid-friendly hotel in a great location, The soft sandy beach is amazing, the rooms are pleasant and clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, the food was very delicious. We enjoyed the water and sport activities. Our childern enjoyed the Mini-Zoo (???‍⬛). The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful & professional. ??? Special thanks to Alex, the best swimming teacher ever ?????????? We enjoyed our stay in Thassos and were impressed with the hotel „Makryammos Bungalows“. ? Makryammos Bungalows is unique development in Thassos dating back to 1965. Lots of green areas, bungalows that blend into the landscape, and a private beach. It is great choice for those craving for a more relaxed and romantic place. It is great exhibition of blue sea and pines - trademark of the island. The beach is shallow and we'll maintained. Overall staff is sufficient and courteous. Rooms are well equiped, not luxurious, but modern for sure. Parking is available free of charge. The resort is 5 mins from Limenas by car. I would give it five stars without any hesitation if it weren't for the following that made me take out one star: - Cleanliness: while it is acceptable and ladies cleaned on a daily basis, it was a bit superstitious. Also, there were spots on several of the sheets. - Food and service at restaurant: Some of the waiters were kind and very welcoming, some were grumpy and indifferent. Due to Covid restrictions one could not self serve and at times I felt awkward asking for more than one or two slices. Food was okay, but variety (especially the breakfast) was not great. Overall splendid place offering beautiful nature and traditions, it will is just a few things there and there that need fixing.

They have closed the street and say that access to the beach is only for hotel guests. By Greek law this is ILLEGAL because there can’t be any private beaches, all beaches MUST be open to the public. Last time I went I was tired and lazy but if it happens again I won’t hesitate one second to call the police. Do not stay at this hotel because they do not respect the law and the environment.

Very nice green area with animals around. The beach is super! However apart from the very big and nice terrace the rooms are really tiny. I would not give 4 stars for such small and not very comfortable rooms. The amenities in the bathroom also are not for 4 stars hotel. Also, please take this as recommendation and make a better map for the guest to find the room and put some more chairs on the terrace together with a place for the beach towels. The restaurant is good, the taverna has good quality food with very nice view. I would recommend the place but not for 4 starts.

Great location with the best beach! Exceptional buffet for breakfast and dinner, the outside bar has exceptional service as well they have very good hot dogs and cold frappes… we not only liked the hotel, but we loved the service. We definitely will come back for a longer stay next year. Thank you very much!

Note in advance: I haven’t visited the beach and the resort itself, so I cannot comment on that! My review and rating is rather destined to inform the people before reaching the resort, so they are aware of the entrance fee and what to expect. At the entrance, we were requested 60 Euros for 2 adults and 1 year old baby! 25 Euro for the adults and 15 for the 1 year old baby? Like if she was using her own sunbed… Almost everywhere in the world, children below 2 years have free admissions. We were told this is for the acess on the beach only (so not to the entire resort, park, attractions) and we would get 1 umbrella(one) for 3 sunbeds. We didn’t enter and went closeby to the Limenas Beach, near Karnagio and it was really nice.

It is the place to be if you are on vacation with your family. It is perfect for children with the shallow waters, green spaces where children can play and alleys where they can ride scooter or bike. Food is good enough and there is a lot of variety. Rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Beds are comfortable and really big. One of the best things for the place is the forest in which the bungalows are situated, which gives you nice shadows and relief from the sun and heat. The beach is very well organized and each bungalow has its own sunbeds and umbrella. You can also find on the beach water sports and beach volleyball playground. And at last, but not by importance, I am impressed from the treatment you receive from the personnel from the guard at the barrier, through the receptionists, barman, waiters, cleaning ladies and golf cart drivers, everybody is smiling and willing to help you. My only recommendation will be to have more personnel, especially during the high season, because no matter how good professionals they are, the work is really a lot and they hardly manage to do it.
