★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We picked this place on the basis of some positive reviews for our last night in Greece, and were rather disappointed. The hotel setting is attractive. But the trendy young crowd were mostly noisy rather than convivial, and the music was loud enough to be difficult to converse over. The food tasted pretty good (modulo the occasional obsession: "truffle good ... let's add more truffle"), but it arrived lukewarm. The bread basket was a bit of a dud. Our friendly waitress tried very hard, and came up with good wine pairings, but we had to ask for water a couple of times. When we mentioned the temperature problems to the maitre'd, we got a bit of a shrug, although they eventually comped us a couple of glasses of wine, which was nice. We met the chef on the way out; he was more interested, but by then it was a bit too late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A trendy place to see wannabe people and that’s all! The drinks and restaurant are not only overrated but very poor on taste for the prices. If you are unfortunate to reserve table at the pool beware! All ladies and gentlemen took a deep dive at expensive shoes! Otherwise sit and enjoy the drama! You won’t find any reviews for menu because it’s provocative bland and mediocre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malabar restaurant is a hidden jewel in the Athens Riviera, located in Margi Hotel.
It has a beautiful setup, overlooking the hotel pool, with small trees on the sides.
There is good choice of food, both meat and fish. Also, very good choice of desserts. Definitely recommended.
