★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary food for prices you can’t beat. We had three appetizers, two main courses, a jug of red wine and a coffee for €35 euro. You’ll be surrounded by mostly locals, which is a delight after facing the often low quality package tourism so indicative of the rest of the island. Staff is friendly.
Couldn’t recommend more. Call ahead to reserve a table.

A traditional Greek restaurant run by an owner with a passion for tasty food. The menu on whatever day you visit, appears to be based on whatever fresh produce is available on the day of your visit but there should always be something there you will enjoy.

The portions are large and very tasty and the prices are very good.
When we went my partner wanted to try various starters and ended up full up without even getting to the main courses.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and quick to attend.
All in all an excellent experience.

If you have the chance I definitely recommend ordering from the daily/lunch menu as you will get some amazing, home style local meals. We even got some free watermelon from the owner who was super nice. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter showed us the kitchen. His English was not perfect (for us good enough) and he said you don’t know the local food so I will show you…and you decide. We loved it! Good price/quality ratio, we ate Fresh Prawns from the grill, rabbit, beef in lemon sauce and fresh burgers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this taverna is one of the best places you can eat in Zakynthos. Malanos is one of the oldest tavernas in Zakynthos( went from the father to the son who renovated the place). The food is excellent. The staff is always polite and make feel as part of the family! As far as the prices, malanos can be described as "Value for Money". The prices are decent for what you get. I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in trying traditional Zakynthian food.
