It is situated in Plaka, the very heart of Athens, just a few minutes away from Syntagma square. Very friendly staff, with a deep knowledge of each product's benefits. Visiting Malotira will provide you with an authentic experience of modern greek culture, through its unique traditional delicacies. Keep up the good work guys!

The shop owner can telly you more about every product and all products are from small producers with a focus on high quality. If you are looking for beautiful AND delicious products, I highly recommend going to this shop. You can get a bottle of olive oil for around 20 - 25 euros. If I'm ever in Athens again, I will for sure buy all my gifts and souvenirs in this shop!

The lady was very nice and offered sampling for all so I can pick out my favorite olive oil and honey. She is very knowledgeable and explain the difference of each product, it was a fun experience!

Everything is beautifully displayed, the products are high quality, and the shopkeepers are lovely. We did a mini tasting and were guided to the next according to our response so that we could find our favourite - super helpful! This is NOT a pushy ‘tourist’ place like some other shops that rather aggressively try to get you to buy. Definitely check it out!

Even though listed as on Google Maps as deli, it’s a place that sends high-quality olive oils and cheese, rather than a general deli. Wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly proprietor walked us though all the options - she’s training as an olive oil sommelier!
