★ ★ ★ ★ ★ According to travel guides, the best Spanakopita in Athens is served in this place. In my opinion it is. The name means spinach pie. In generally I love the combination of fried onion, spinach and cheese. He reminded me a bit of the Böreki I gorged on in the Balkans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been there since 1962 and that say a lot. A small shop that at first don't cut your eye but their products definitely worth it!! I tried the small cheese pie and for just 1€ it was more than filling. Also the kaseri pie was so yummy and spicy that I would eat it every day. The best part is that after 17:00 everything is marked half price ? They also have a vegan spinach pie but it was sold out when I visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Savory cheese pies! Worth the wait. They open at 7 but they don't have all varieties immediately at 7. For example they told me that the meat filled one will be available after a few hours so I just got the 2 cheese ones.

Nestled in a small connection street it’s a nice grab and go spot. Area 51 coffee stall next door is nice too.
