Located in a relatively quite place, with a bunch of tables outside and more inside. Decor looks nice and promising. Nonetheless, the waiter that served us (presumably Mr. Manolis, the owner) rudeness started the service with the wrong foot. The food that came sometime (a lot) later wasn't really anything special and it looked like mediocre food from the 90s. Boring with no imagination and a tad overpriced. Definitely not going back after experienced so many great places in the town of Volos.

Probably the best Greek taverna in town! Must go with your friends or family! Well done!

Perfectly organised restaurant. Very well cooked fishes served with warm family smile. Hope to come Volos again to visit this place. PS try octopus salad.

Probably the most honest tavern in volos, concerning price and quality of food. No gourmets, no overprices for small portions. Serves good meat and fish, personally I prefer meat so always I'm getting the burger portion which is my favourite burger in volos, also you can taste some traditional meze in a better quality than tsipouradika since it is a tavern ( my favourite is potato salad). You can find restaurants with cheaper prices but they won't have this quality of materials used. Very lucky for tourists staying in Xenia to have such a good, fair tavern across the street. Congratulations.

We arrived at this restaurant at 2pm on 1st May without a reservation, but the owner luckily gave us a table as others had not turned up. He explained what he recommended, and we happily went for his suggestions. The taramosalata was amongst the best I have ever tasted and the fried red mullet and grilled squid were perfectly cooked and tasted so very fresh. I would definitely return to this restaurant if I ever go back to Volos and can highly recommend it if you like to eat fresh fish. The service was lovely and friendly and helpful too.
