Marathi Apartments

Αγενεστατο προσωπικό, παλιά δωματια , έλλειψη καθαριότητας.

Καλή η εμπειρία μου από το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο. Και πιο συγκεκριμένα ζητήσαμε από την κυρία ένα μήνα πριν δωμάτιο και ήταν ευγενέστατη μας βρήκε και μας έκανε και πολύ καλή τιμή, όπως επίσης και ότι μας άφησε τη τελευταία μέρα μέχρι της 16.3 γιατί ταξιδεύαμε στις 19.00. Αλλά όταν φτάσαμε στο δωμάτιο τη πρώτη μέρα το δωμάτιο δυστυχώς δεν ήταν καθαρό όπως έπρεπε πέρα από τα βασικά σεντόνια και πετσέτες της ζητήσαμε να το κάνει στη κυρία που καθάριζε που εδώ να σημειώσω ήταν ευγενέστατη αλλά η κυρία που είχε το ξενοδοχείο της μιλούσε υποτιμητικά και απότομα πολύ. Ύστερα από αυτό 3 μέρες μετά στις 9 που επιστρέφαμε στο δωμάτιο δεν είχαμε καθόλου ζεστό νερό είχαν ηλιακούς και μετά από κάποια ώρα δεν άνοιγαν τον ηλεκτρικό για να μη καίει ρεύμα. Όσο για το ίντερνετ δεν έπιανε καθόλου παρόλο που γράφει WiFi κατά τα άλλα είχαμε μια ήρεμη και όμορφη διαμονή σε ένα δωμάτιο με θέα το βουνό.

Staff always helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have regarding historic sites, places to visit, making suggestions in order to make your visit more pleasant. Always there when you need them. Great place.. Made us feel welcome..

Supposed to be in a village, the apartments are actually just next to the main road from Naxos chora to Lefkes. So even if it's more quiet at night, you always hear cars passing by. Very clean every day and beautiful view from the balcony. The matress was a bit rude and making noise when moving. The kitchen is actually just a little fridge and electric hob. Supposed to have an owen but it wasn't there. No comfy chair or sofa to relax and read. For the same price you can go in a 2 stars hotel in Logaras.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked a room at Marathi Apartments. The apartment complex is located in the center of the island, with a bus stop right outside the reception. However, there isn't much to do in that area and with how infrequent the buses are in Paros I was left wondering if I had made the right choice. My doubts were quickly waved away once I'd settled in. The hostess was quick to make me feel at home, offering recommendations (with photos) of places I could visit and things I could do. She was nice and accommodating despite facing difficulties due to COVID. The room I stayed in was really nice. It had a really large wardrobe for my stuff as well as a large balcony with a great view of the hills. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. There is no restaurant in Marathi Apartments but each room has a fully operational kitchen in the room, which allowed me to cook my own food,though the hostess did offer to make me breakfast. The complex is located in Marathi, a rural part of Paros. While it isn't easy to access the place without a car, and it's hard to catch a cab there, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, which is convenient. The hostess also offered to drive me to Parikia which was very convenient. Since Marathi Apartments isn't located in a busy area, what it can provide is a nice, quiet stay and a very relaxing trip. The rooms here are a must for anyone who values privacy and peace of mind. There aren't many lights around so one can easily see the entire night sky, which was a brilliant sight. While it's not easy to use mobile data, the hotel offers free WiFi which is nice. Marathi apartments was a nice place to stay in, being one of the most relaxing experiences I've had with a room yet. I look forward to visiting the apartments again, though next time I will opt to rent a vehicle since Paros buses are not very frequent.

Antonia is a great host! She even picked us up from the port when our ferry arrived too late to rent any scooter or go there by bus. The place is clean and maybe 7 to 10 minutes out of town by car. With the information Antonia gave us about the island we spent a wonderful 3 days touring it.

The room was really noisy due to the air-conditioning and the fridge that was really old. The kitchen didn't have all the necessary stuff and there were ants everywhere so I couldn't keep any snacks outside of the fridge. The road is also really loud.
