★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fried Calamari, despite being cooked frozen, was amazing, perfectly crispy outside with tender inside. Hardly a wait for the food. Staff was attentive, polite and pet friendly. Great Thessaloniki gem. Fresh mussels were stellar too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute star of place. Short and clear meny. Amazing food. Lightning service. Nice size potions, fresh ans and delicious. We ordered 4 meals, 2 greek aalads and 3 - 4 starters for 5 grownups and 2 kids and in no time double table was full of food with more than enough food for everyone. It was real fast. Everything waa delisious and they thrown in complementary ice cream with Halva. Prices where alo vey reasonable and staff was very nice. Hole area is full of restaurants but it will be hard to explore any new place next time we are areound without paying Marathos another visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is placed on a noisy street among other noisy restaurants, but this is totally normal for Thessaloniki. Stuff was polite but a little bit hard to wave to. Greek salad was ok (not the best olives though ?), koutsomoures fried fish was better looking than tasting - it hardly had any taste and was too saltless, the fried zucchini were more oily than needed and tzatziki coming with them was too little. Unfortunatelly in addition to other small taverns, I cannot recommend this one.

This doesn’t match the prices on the menu, which are relatively high in comparison to food quality and quantity. The staff were rude and didn’t meet our expectations. In short, I’d avoid this place because it’s very basic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite place for unique real Greek food! Meat and fish dishes and traditional plates in lovely atmosphere. Friendly and polite staff, ready to help you. Freshly made food in reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
