The beers were OK, but we got a small pizza. No one there seems to be able to speak a foreign language, but this was not the only reason for this messed up order...

Often people translate the loukoumades as donuts for lack of another appropriate word. But they are nothing like donuts. The nearest that can describe them is round churros with honey. They are made on the spot and come to you piping hot, golden and crispy.
This place makes the best ones in the wide Thessaloniki area. The portion is good enough for two, as they serve five big pieces and they are very sweet to eat more. Very affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a real village doughnut kafenio experience. If you are in Michaniona, it's a must go. The Owner is carelessly throwing
donuts ? into the oil and as it's partially on the street, you can watch how do they become perfect.
I recommend to take away and to eat on the to downstairs in the port ⛵
