★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist port. Usual sequence of long plasticised menus with little personality. The Greek hospitality of the staff is the only thing that I have appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge marina in with many touristic shops and restaurants around. Therefore high competition fair(er) prices and acceptable to good quality of products offered here.
In high season very crowded.

The port town of Sitia is a beautiful city sitting in the Eastern part of Crete that offers great opportunities to explore and find great shops and restaurants.
But what is really special is if you can traverse the city by foot, you can truly get a sense of stepping back in time. As the photos show, you may turn a corner and find a beautiful Church or find a scenic view of cobblestone streets or of the harbor.
Greece is both mythical and magical. It’s anything and everything you could ever imagine it to be. A bucket list destination for sure.
