It has established a partnership with Four Wood Capital LLC in New York to access, place and manage loan capital from Institutional Investors. One of the fruits of this Co-operation is the Lending platform GMTC which is currently providing first mortgage debt finance to the Greek Shipping Community sourced from an Insitutional Investor base in the USA.
MFA's management team's broad spectrum of shipping related experience includes capital markets, debt, insurance, operations, port agency and ownership.
