Best Marina in Greece

M	MOuSAkASs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked it but it's not for anyone! It's very quiet and doesn't have a lot of bars.. It's good if you have a family if your planning to visit the other areas like villages or the very close towns!
N	N C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very nice that the road around the marina is closed to cars every night but I wouldn't call this a picturesque town. However, there are some good places to eat there!

This is the marina where ferries coming from rafina port dock to charge and discharge their cargo of people cars etc. Beautiful to watch smiley at arrival and moving at leaving. Has great coffeeshops and restaurants along the shore right next to the port. So if you arrive to early you can always have a relaxed wait. Remember that the port serves only the scheduled ferries so it is completely deserted off hours. There's a bus waiting at the scheduled time oh ferry arrival that goes to karystos. So you can take the bus to karystos for 2 or 3 euros then a cab at karystos to the hotel for 5 euros or book a cab from marmari to karystos for 20-25 euros. Your host in karystos (hotel or private) can book the can for you.
M	Mike 2cv on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A peaceful and very untouristy town with a lovely undeveloped beach. Most houses seem to be second homes for Athenians so it's hard to find a place to stay but it is well worth the effort.

B	Basil Antoniadis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy, small little port in Euboia - Greece. Connects to Rafina on mainland with a 50min ferry. Calm waters (gets windy but no waves as a sheltered from open sea) reasonable beaches in walking, biking distance. More accessible by car. Good spread of restaraunts, coffe shop plus the odd bar. Local flair mostly Greek tourists as it is a stones throw from Athens.

We spent one night in the harbour, had dinner in one of the tavernas, bought fresh fish, meat and local sausages, fruits, ice cubes... A fisherman made us a fresh fish gift and the woman in the kiosk offered us fresh figs. Is our second time here, and we love it.
