★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία στα 1050m υψόμετρο!! Η Μαρούσια είναι παλιό χωριό που καταστράφηκε επί τουρκοκρατίας. Το μόνο που έχει διασωθεί από το παλιό χωριό είναι η εκκλησία του Αγίου Νικολάου που αξίζει να επισκεφτείτε. Πραγματικά σε πιάνει δέος περνώντας τη μικρή πορτούλα για να βρεθείς εντός του Ναού με τις παλιές τοιχογραφίες και το τέμπλο! Μπορείτε να φτάσετε εκεί και με αυτοκίνητο 4Χ4 αλλά αυτό που αξίζει και προτείνουμε, είναι η πεζοπορία, ξεκινώντας από το Αρκοχώρι και διανύοντας εξαιρετική διαδρομή από μονοπάτια και δασικούς δρόμους. Η απόσταση είναι 13 χιλιόμετρα συνολικά μέχρι να φτάσετε Μαρούσια και να γυρίσετε πίσω στο Αρκοχώρι.
 Excellent location at 1050m altitude !! Marousia is an old village that was destroyed during the Turkish occupation. The only thing that has survived from the old village is the church of Agios Nikolaos that is worth visiting. You are really in awe passing the small gate to find yourself inside the Temple with the old murals and the iconostasis! You can get there by 4x4 car but what is worthwhile and we recommend, is hiking, starting from Arkochori and going through an excellent route of paths and forest roads. The distance is 13 kilometers in total until you reach Maroussia and return back to Arkochori.
