★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best seafood restaurant in the area. I've been visiting Mastra for some years now and I always get excited by the excellent quality of the dishes. If you 're a fan of mediterranean seafood, Mastra's delicious and well served dishes (like calamari/salmon/sardines/fresh fish soup etc) will make your day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely outside seating set in a lane behind the restaurant. Ambient music from the bar next door floats in but isn't obtrusive. The wait staff were really nice and attentive.
We had the greek salad and fried anchovies. We thought we would start with this and go from there but with some grilled bread this was more than enough. That is saying something as we hadn't eaten in a while and had been on foot for long periods that day.
Lovely greek experience.

that we could barely finish them, service was great they just kept that food coming I recommend this place if you're in Greece I recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night in Athens and last meal here. Just superb food! We started with toast bread, zucchini balls (a must have), and boiled mixed vegetables. For the entrees, we had grilled swordfish, grilled octopus and seafood with rice. In our 7 days in Greece, this was our best meal. And we had some really great food while in Greece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and local. Had a great time. The inner garden was pleasant and hidden from the street. Food was excellent, first time I had breaded, fried tomatoes and loved them! Recommended.

Cosy sitting area in a hidden garden on the back of the restaurant.
Attentive staff, good environment.
I'd recommend the octopus.
