Σήμερα, στο μαυσωλείο εκτίθεται η μαρμάρινη ενεπίγραφη πλάκα, η οποία προέρχεται από τον τάφο του Γαζή Εβρενός και μας αναφέρει και την ακριβή χρονολογία του θανάτου του, την Τετάρτη, 17 Νοεμβρίου 1417. The mausoleum of Gazi Evrenos is situated on the spot where, at one time, the sacred grave of the descendants of the Ottoman conqueror and founder of the city of Giannitsa was located.
