★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Mealos last summer (July 2019) in a double bedroom flat. In one word: Excellent. It is right next to a beautiful sandy beach (no road crossing required). Great sea view from our balcony (see photo). The location is quite a strategic one for quick access to everywhere.
The cleaning around the place seemed a constant operation and readily available if you needed something. Parking places are available within the establishment.
Although I've been in Skyros before, it was several years ago and I was glad to only have found it better. Many places to eat, drink and relax. Nice and relatively cheap.

Many thanks to the owner who sent us quite an exhaustive list of 'what to do''s, how to get there, where to eat at each place and various other advice. All were delightful ideas and most appreciated!
The daily boat trip is a highly advisable one. Swimming in the caves was priceless. The food on the boat was not superb however it is good value for money and several extra treats were offered during the trip, therefore I recommend it to the other option of packing your own lunch.
All in all a beautiful vacation for us.
