Best Hospital in Greece

People stacked outside the main doors scorching under the sun, where EVERYONE was coming through irrespective of the reason for their visit at the hospital. No designated space for sample taking apart from a curtain, right next to the queue. Delay for 40 minutes until someone finally directed their attention to me. Everyone was fighting to have their turn outside of their turn, whereas sick people were trying to enter the hospital for their chemotherapies. Receptionists taking details from everyone, escorting people in the hospital, printing receipts themselves (for which they dissappeared 10 minutes at a time). Ridiculous and dangerous conditions. Choose another hospital

This hospital charges the test €190/person, and I was told I'd get the results maximum within 48 hours which sounded great. Me and my partner took the test, and we waited for the results. 4 days later, still no results. I called the hospital and was told that they'd "immediately re-send the email" as something must have gone wrong. There's no email, still. Not in spam, inbox, nowhere. 7 days after the test, today, I called again, and was told that the email with the results would be sent again. Still, no email. Don't waste your money, go to a reputable and more reliable (more affordable, too!) hospital if you want a covid test after/before travel.

F. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hospital in Greece!Best doctors,nurses and staff in general.Their politeness and expertise is overwhelming.Everybody is with a smile on their faces and always willing to assist in any way.You feel safe and like being at home.Excellent care and I highly recommend it.This is coming from a person that has been hospitalised at Mediterraneo on 14 different occasions for various health issues in the past year!!Not to mention the years prior to that.Congrats to all the staff and executives of Mediterraneo Hospital!

I want to express my sincere thanks to all the kind, caring young women (and men) on the nursing staff on the surgical ward who so helpfully assisted me. The surgery was super hi-tech and all went superlatively. The facilities could do with a bit of upgrade (can hardly move tray tables, no overhead bar for post-surgery to aid in sitting up), and the medication disbursement system needs refinement) but I cannot fault either the physicians or nursing staff!

A	Alexia Sotiriadou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review only reflects the phone center assistance and the services I received several times while having PCR tests for travelling purpose, and does not reflect the general quality of the hospital for which I have a good experience of. The people answering the phone are in general unpolite and make you feel that they are doing you a favor by replying to your questions. The PCR tests results I received (4 times - not sure why I continued having them there) were never correct and always had grammatical mistakes (name, passport number etc.) which I had to deal with before my flight. That despite the fact that I filled in forms with my details and they also have my file with details in their system. When I called them back to change the mistakes, they were very rude and accused me that I gave them wrong details, which of course did not happen. All in all, not professional at all. And as a last note, I normally fly between Dhaka-/ Bangladesh and Athens and clinics/ hospitals in Bangladesh are FAR more professional in issuing PCR tests and assisting than Mediterraneo Hospital in ATHENS, GREECE, EUROPE. I would kindly suggest to instruct your call center staff to do their job in a better manner and pay attention to details that are apparently more important than they think.
