Wir mussten schon eine gewisse Zeit warten, bis man uns Beachtung schenkte und danach entwickelte sich der junge Mann etwas distanlos und aufdringlich zu seinen Gästen. Das hilft der viele Raki auch nicht weiter. The food tasted pretty good so far. Not too expensive either. We had to wait a certain time until we were paid attention and then the young man developed a bit distant and intrusive to his guests. That doesn't help the many raki either.

Die Karte war mir etwas zu Touristenlastig (Schnitzel und Co.) deshalb habe ich mich einfach an den Klassiker gehalten: Fisch des Tages! Das war zur Freude der Kellnerin wohl auch die richtige Wahl. Ich hatte eine erstklassige Dorade mit Salat und dazu gab es gratis eine Beilage aus den weißen, dicken Bohnen mit Zwiebeln und sehr viel Ollvenöl. Der Name ist mir entfallen, aber dieses Mus war unglaublich lecker. Alles wirklich top! Ich komme gerne wieder. Very nice tavern right in the center of Agia Galini. The menu was a bit too touristy for me (schnitzel and Co.) so I just stuck to the classic: fish of the day! To the delight of the waitress, that was probably the right choice. I had a first-class sea bream with salad and there was a free side dish made from the white broad beans with onions and a lot of olive oil. I forgot the name, but this puree was incredibly tasty. Everything really great! I will gladly come again.

Wir waren eine Woche in Agia Galini und haben uns mehr oder weniger überall durchprobriert, jedoch bleibt das Medusa unser Lieblingslokal in dem Ort. Die Gastfreundschaft ist wie man es auf Kreta gewohnt ist zuvorkommend und äußerst angenehm. Man fühlt sich in diesem Restaurant definitif wie zu Hause und das kommt auch in den Gerichten wieder hervor. Es lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig! Danke Kostas und Crew für die tollen Abendessen. We were in Agia Galini for a week and tried more or less everywhere, but the Medusa remains our favorite restaurant in the place. The hospitality is as one is used to in Crete is courteous and extremely pleasant. You definitely feel at home in this restaurant and that is also reflected in the dishes. Von Anfang bis zum Ende eine freundliche Bedienung und am Ende gabs vom Besitzer noch ein Obstteller und selbst-gemachten Raki(sehr lecker!) aufs Haus. Preis/Leistung ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut. Kann ich jedem empfehlen diesen Restaurant zu besuchen, der sich in der Stadt aufhält. Wie werden wieder dahin gehen! Very tasty food and a big dose of hospitality. Everything freshly prepared. Large selection of food and local specialities. Friendly service from start to finish and at the end the owner gave us a fruit plate and homemade raki (very tasty!) on the house. Value for money is definitely very good. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant who is in town. We will go there again!

We've been there in years 2000 when the restaurant was run by the father, now the boys are continuing the same good job. Delicious food, friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices for what you get! We had the giros with mushrooms, that was amaizing, together with excellent pumpkin croquettes. At the end , on the house, fruits and raki... Keep it on!
