★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οι συγκρίσεις με το πιο δημοφιλές γειτονάκι του είναι αναπόφευκτες καθώς και τα δύο είναι ιστορικά ζαχαροπλαστεία με τις ίδιες σπεσιαλιτέ σε απόσταση αναπνοής. Και στα δυο θα φας εξαιρετικό γλυκό, στο Μέλαθρον όμως εκτιμώ πιο πολύ το σέρβις και τις μερίδες.
Comparisons with its most popular neighborhood are inevitable as both are historic patisseries with the same specialties within walking distance. In both you will eat excellent dessert, but in Melathron I appreciate the service and the portions more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραία παγωτά, ευγενικό προσωπικό, αλλά πάνω από όλα μου έκανε πολύ εντύπωση η κοπέλα που δούλευε όταν μας έφερε τα πράγματα , μας έφερε και σε ένα μπολακι παγωτού με νεράκι (με δική της πρωτοβουλία χωρίς να της πούμε κάτι) για τον σκύλο που είχαμε μαζί μας.. Nice ice creams, kind staff, but above all I was very impressed by the girl who worked when she brought us things, she also brought us a bowl of ice cream with water (on her own initiative without telling her anything) about the dog we had together. Our .. Well done on the actual date of visit 20/6/2020 in the afternoon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δυστυχώς απογοήτευση! Πήγα συστημένος για το σιροπιασμένο τσουρέκι αλλά ήταν τουλάχιστον μιας εβδομάδας και παγωμένο. Ήταν τόσο παλιό που δεν είχε μείνει ούτε μισό δάκτυλο σιρόπι στο τσουρέκι (μια παλάμη ύψος περίπου) και όταν το έκοβες-με δυσκολία- ήταν "λευκό". Θα μπορούσαν να μας προτείνουν κάτι άλλο ή να μας πουν ότι δεν έχουν αλλά δεν ήθελαν να χάσουν τα 15 ευρώ...
Unfortunately disappointment! I went recommended for the syrupy bun but it was at least a week and frozen. It was so old that not even half a finger of syrup was left in the bun (a palm about the height) and when you cut it - with difficulty - it was "white". They could suggest us something else or tell us that they do not have but did not want to lose the 15 euros ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Παραδοσιακό ζαχαροπλαστείο, απο το 1973, με καταπληκτικό παγωτό και ποιοτικά υλικά. Έχει τραπεζάκια στο πεζοδρόμιο της Πατησίων αλλά και μέσα, και η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν πολυ σωστή, με ευγένεια. Οι τιμές του ειναι πολυ προσιτές και οι μερίδες του παγωτού αρκετα μεγάλες.
Traditional patisserie, since 1973, with amazing ice cream and quality ingredients. It has tables on Patission's sidewalk and inside, and the service was very good, courteous. Its prices are very affordable and the portions of the ice cream are quite large.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Melathron is one of the best known pastry shops in the area. Amazing ice cream and sweet bread as well as a variety of other sweets, chocolate ones are just awesome (personal preference). Its special Christmas sweet bread is exceptional. Outdoor seating, fast friendly service and reasonable prices. A place that honors its tradition and all their customers. The place abides by the pandemic measures.
