Με τον εντυπωσιακό εορτασμό του Natsu Matsuri, του παραδοσιακού καλοκαιρινού φεστιβάλ της Ιαπωνίας, ολοκληρώθηκε η μετάβαση του πάρκου των Νηρηίδων στο Παγκράτι σε θεματικό Ιαπωνικό Πάρκο, το πρώτο της Αθήνας.

Ακολουθώντας πιστά το τελετουργικό, με τα προβλεπόμενα χρονικά ορόσημα, τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο -σε ειδική τελετή- είχε τοποθετηθεί ο θεμέλιος λίθος, από τον Δήμαρχο Αθηναίων Κώστα Μπακογιάννη, τον Πρέσβη της Ιαπωνίας Nakayama Yasunori και την CEO της JTI κ. Lili Zigoslou, καθώς το Πάρκο δημιουργήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος του Δήμου Αθηναίων «Υιοθέτησε την πόλη σου», με την ευγενική υποστήριξη της JTI Hellas.

Beautiful scenes of the Athenian quarter, the interwar period and before !! (upper floor). I absolutely recommend it, to you, dreamers, and lovers, of memories !!! THE IMPORTANCE VALUE EXTREME PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION of Vasilis Artikou, you are hosted on the first floor

Στον εκθεσιακό χώρο του ισογείου το Εικαστικό Επιμελητήριο Τεχνών Ελλάδος με αφορμή τα 200 χρόνια από την ελληνική επανάσταση του 1821 διοργάνωσε την επετειακή έκθεση για τα μέλη της με τίτλο: "Προς Επισκευήν Ολομελείας", μία διαφορετική προσέγγιση της Ελληνικής επανάστασης από τους εικαστικούς του σήμερα. A wonderful building in one of the most beautiful areas of Athens. In the exhibition space on the ground floor, the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek revolution of 1821 organized the anniversary exhibition for its members entitled: "Towards the Repair of the Plenary Session", a different approach of the Greek revolution from its artists today.

M	Martha Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would like to give it more stars: the Haridimos/Charidimos Shadow Puppet exhibition on the ground floor is extensive. The travelodge upstairs is beautiful. The staff were very polite and friendly. However, nothing is written in English. Good to spend half an hour admiring the art.
A	Alkis p on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum. Free enterance. It's ok. Two of it's rooms are used for temporary excibitions. The first floor is a museum for the history of the folk "theater of shadows" (καραγκιοζης) and the second floor has a recreation of landmark buildings from modern athens. The museum building is intresting in it self as it is the building of a very old ceramics factory. (If you have time it combines nicly with the gas factory museum just a block away).
