★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best stops on our short trip over New Year's Eve to Greece. There is no English menu but the very friendly service was very friendly and helpful in translating. All in all very good service and delicious food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Value for money, most dishes are delicious, friendly staff. Quiet, street-facing, gravel, open space, ideal for small to medium, kid- friendly receptions. Try avoiding peak hours, service may get a bit slow. Deffinately recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good mezedes (small dishes to share) with reasonable prices.
A big variety of vegetarian and meat dishes.
It is very busy and at weekends it's good to reserve a table.
Guests are mostly families, the yard is safe for children, there are small pebbles so you can bring some toy bucket and shovel to keep your toddler busy.
Baby cats to play with inclusive.
Very friendly staff and, unless it's super busy, prompt service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been at Melisses two years ago with a greek friend and still remembered but far from my area. Went finally back again yesterday.
Half of their menu (coincidentially, the dishes I came for) wasn’t available and that should have triggered me an alarm. Were they serving remaining food and, therefore, not fresh? Consequences made me suspect this.
My friend and me have been sick all night after dining here. In two years in Greece, eating out almost every night, never felt that bad during the night.
I don’t leave reviews but the night sickness requires it.
Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious food,great Cretan tsipouraki, good terrace, pleasant environment. One of the best places we ever ate in Athens. The only thing is that the staff was to few for the many people there. They were running like bees among all the people. They tried to do their best but my opinion is that there're few employees for the number of customers .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered takeout from this place and the service was good and quick. Their 'melises' salad was amazing and I'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately they don't offer many vegetarian/vegan options. They offer tables both inside and outside, which is lovely and well decorated.
