Melitsina Village Hotel is a jewel of Peloponnese. I strongly recommend it as it has lots to offer and represents a great value for money. It is very well connected with Kalamata and the staff was very helpful with transfer. We stayed for seven days in Melitsina exploring Mani region and doing sports with Dimitri. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The whole complex is built with a great attention to detail and with lots of love. Houses built of stone have everything one would need for a relaxed holidays (it is clean, has huge terrace with a great view, comfortable beds, etc.). Breakfast - Greek and international food. In addition, Melitsina offers a restaurant with great view and a rich menu of very tasty food and wine. Sport facility (cross-fit, volleyball) provides great foundation for a holiday workout. Together with the trainer, Dimitri, we worked on our technique during personal trainings. In addition, we had a daily group workouts. Approach to trainings is personalized and we are grateful to Dimitri for giving always an extra effort to accommodate our needs and whishes. I would recommend doing yoga right after the group training. Olivia, thank you very much for yoga sessions. The staff is very professional and always goes an extra mile to maximize your holidays feeling. It is so obvious that Melitsina was built with lots of love. Melitsina is situated very close to Kardamili - in my opinion the most beautiful and picturesque village in Mani, a Peloponnese region. It offers lots of great restaurants (Lela, Tikla, Elias) and great beaches (Ritsa, Foneas, Stoupa). I'll definitely come back to Melitsina.

We were 2 families spending a full week in this wonderful resort right at the sea. The rooms were a pleasant surprise as they are even more beautiful than what the pictures indicate. The restaurant serves outstanding dishes; a statement we reconfirm after having tested many excellent tavernas in the vicinity. The owners Dimitri with his wife and parents are great hosts and really caring for guests spending end enjoying their vacation there. Recommendations for the best tavernas around also proved to be a sure bet. Even our Greek friends from Athens confirmed the quality of food in those places in Agios Nikolaos and Stoupa. Covid-19 was taken very seriously and the owners and staff paid utmost attention to ensuring a safe environment, which was clearly an extra effort for the hotel. However, for us as guests it provided a very positive feeling in these difficult times. Thanks Dimitri and all! We will for sure return to this magnificent hotel and hope that post Covid-19, we are able to sign up for some CrossFit and yoga classes.

The Melitsina Village is a place where you feel immediately welcomed and like at home. I have never switched to relax mode so quickly then at Melitsina. It is perfectly located at a rocky beach with cristal clear water, within 15 min walking distance from the picturesque Kardamili town and 5-10 min walking to the next beautiful Ritsa beach with sunbeds and superb restaurants. The Melitsina Village is run by a lovely family who have built this paradise with much love, dedication, professionalism and attention to detail. The people working at Melitsina and the family are so lovely, welcoming and open that we really felt like being with friends. It is a place where you want to go back every year. The apartments are very spacious with a terrace or garden. We loved that apartments are in newly built authentic stone houses surrounded by olive and fig trees and flowers. We felt alot of privacy since there is only two aprtments per house, so each has their own floor. The rooms are modern, clean and with very tasteful interiour and all facilities that you need. The hotel restaurant does not only serve a rich breakfast but is also a high quality and very delicious dinner location. They are known for its organic and fresh greek food and wine. The restaurant is open with a lovely garden and offers a stunning view on the coast, kardamili town and mountains in the background. Also guest from other hotels and local tourists are coming for dinner. What is very special about Melistsina Village is their crossfit program and fully equiped openair gym. We booked the crossfit for 1 week and were amazed by the fantastic program, the quick progress we made and the additional personal trainings we had with Dimitri who showed us individually how to improve our technique. Thank you Dimitri for motivating us and giving us your best practice! Also there were many other interesting people joining crossfit and it was very fun and motivating to see each other going to the limit. What I also really enjoyed are the amazing yoga classes given by Olivia. Doing yoga in the shadow of trees, with a view to the sea and mountains was one of my highlights. If you are looking for authentic greek experience, excellent quality, honestly friendly people, delicious food,  and beautiful beaches then I can highly recommend the Melitsina Village in the pictoresque town of Kardamily. It was my first time travelling to the Peleponnese region and I did not expect too much as I have travelled to the more popular islands and destinations in Greece before. I was very positively surprised and now Kardamily is one of my best and most memorable holiday experiences. I will definitively come back to Melitsina Village in Kardamily. Thank you Melitsina! The setting of the Melitsina Village Hotel is sublime. The restaurant which serves delicious, varied breakfasts (included), excellent lunches & dinners, not to mention cocktails, wine and Greek Grace Gin, overlooks one of the most beautiful vistas I have ever seen. You look out over Mediterranean, which is framed by mountains and at night the bay is lit up by the moon, stars and restaurant candles. The hotel has a secluded volcanic beach from which you can jump into the Med (or use the steps) and the swimming in the crystal clear water is good for the soul! Our room (which fridge and kitchenette is elegant and large. Air con is great and our large balcony with table and four chairs looks out onto the sea. Walk from the hotel along the sea front passing 2 great olive grove/sea front tavernas and into the village square, which great shops and other fabulous restaurants. (Although none are quite as gorgeous as the Melitsina restaurant.) We had a fantastic week. The staff could not have been more friendly, hard working, yet relaxed and all have great English, which is good for me who has no Greek. It should be noted that we are here in August 2020 - during the Corona pandemic and yet we feel utterly safe. All sensible precautions are being taken by staff and guests. I can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Wonderful location, awesome cuisine, extremely helpful staff and amazing outdoor crossfit box to train every day at any time. They also offer yoga classes several times a week which is absolutely great to end a day of training and swimming in the sea! Staff makes you feel home and welcome from the first minute you arrive. Wasn’t my first time here and definitely not my last time. Love it!

Nice place to stay! The complex has a village atmosphere with all these stone houses and roads. In the complex there is a restaurant in which you can find delicious meals at night. At noon it serves light meals and salads. The hotel is famous for the provision of cross-fit and yoga lessons. It also provides sunbeds and umbrellas near the water and access to it in the very near coast. Because it is rocky and the water deep it isn't recommended for people who don't know swimming. Breakfast is included and it is good enough (quality and portions). Try to avoid ground floor rooms with only one opening, during hot summer days, because they are a little bit dark and airless. Staff and owners were more than kind and helpful.
