S	Steve Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on small fishing marina on the east part of Kavala, it's on an ideal location to enjoy an ouzo. However by most other metrics it's mediocre. Average quality of dishes, mediocre house wine and average prices too. The mussels weren't too fresh unfortunately. Nothing special.

If you do not speak greek then you have to be very patient because they will ignore you. Here local are being preoritised. HIGHLY ADVICE NOT TO GO THERE. By the way the dishes was great.

It's a little off the beaten track but well worth seeking out, with lovely views over a marina that looks like it's mostly used by small fishing vessels. They have the standard stuff you'd expect from a seafood taverna but if you go inside they can show you the fridge which contains the catch of the day, so to speak. We had deep fried mussels, sardines, squid and a big seabream, which was the catch of the day. There wasn't a disappointing dish amongst them and the sea bream was the star of the show, simply amazing from the grill. Fortunately the service matched the food, attentive and friendly without being overbearing, very good indeed Unfortunately didn't get any photos of the food as we were all very hungry but at least managed a photo of the view. Will definitely be coming back.
L	Lucian Bagia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated in the fisherman's harbour, most of its clients are locals. Very good looking and tasty dishes at a decent price. I strongly recommend stuffed squid and grilled octopus.

Highly recommended will definitely visit again. This is the type of restaurant that Greece is known for. Eight by the sea with beautifully cooked food and friendly service. Thank you for looking after us so well we will be back!
L	Lalos SAW on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice taverna, large quantity of food with many vegan options. Service is not the fastest but that's OK. Location is really good, with tables near the sea. Music is nice and low. It's not the cheapest place but it's not that expensive. I went there twice because it's a nice place to eat. They serve a nice plate with deserts and if you are a big company some fruits as well.
