★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality for the sweets, nice spot, although it gets busy very frequently. Quality of service not steady. Most of the waitresses are super nice, but some are really unwelcoming and with a certain attitude. All in all rather positive but can be improved

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and welcoming, Meltemi is located in the centre of Chora and has amazing views of the windmills. A visitor can taste here the best traditional "pouggia" (sweet and savory pies, filled with local cheese)
of the island along with fascinating cocktails. Excellent choice for breakfast or an evening drink, will satisfy the most demanding visitor. Don't miss it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best breakfast in town. Wonderful eggs, yogurt, and sweets. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a nice selection of coffees. Service is good and your food come quickly. Can get sweets and dessert here all day. For those of you who need a Ben and Jerry's fix, here you go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meltemi is always our first and last stop when we go to Astypalaia. The coffees are the best on the island and the banoffee is delicious. The breakfasts are great (don't miss out on the pougia) and so are the evening cocktails - I recommend the Meltemi O'clock. Friendly staff that are long time staff members - obviously a happy and great work environment.
