★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and clean hotel. We stayed there for one night during last July. Impossible to open the window in our room without the fear of summer insects. There was no pests for insects on the window, at least in our room.
Parking is a little problem, even though the staff always preserves parking places in front of the hotel. I believe that during peak season, with all the rooms full, than maybe it would be a problem to park your vehicle.
Nevertheless, the staff is very polite, kind and helpful with their guests. I would suggest to book a back room, looking over the pool, especially during summer, so it would be more quiet than the front ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel at the center of the city, good accommodation, clean and pretty roomy. Breakfast is decent. On the other hand there are people smoking everywhere, even if there are non smoking signs. The lobby, bar, restaurant and all areas inside the hotel are smoking friendly, making it a disgusting place for having a drink, eat or just sit at the lobby. It's a shame for this hotel and no one cares, even when I complained about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at this hotel for nine days. Upon our arrival I slipped and fell on the ramp for the luggage and severly bruised my ribs. At no time did the receptionist or the person who helped us with our luggage ask if I was ok. The person handling our luggage was trying not to laugh at my misfortune but was unsuccessful. A few days later I mentioned it to one of the owners and he didn’t seem to care. In all the days we stayed there, no one ever asked me if I was ok, very unprofessional. We were in Greece for 25 days and this occurred on my third day, the pain ruined more than half of my vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hotel in Sparta. I have stayed there three times in the past four years, most recently this summer for three weeks. The rooms are meticulously kept and the staff is friendly, helpful and most accommodating. This is my "home away from home" when I am in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to the Menelaion Restaurant a few times with my Uncle Kyriakos Maltezos;and my First-Cousins Aristidis and his sister;Anastasia(Stacy)Maltezos. What wonderful Memories experiencing the Culinary Food in my Parent's Hometown!!! I've been there some 15 years ago. I highly recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst accommodation we have ever been. They locked us out in the cold at 3am . The main door was locked and Thank God we managed to get in from the back door. The walls are so fake. Made with plaster boards . You can listen everything from the room next to yours, hair dryer, phone calls, even the snoring of the people next door.
Think twice before you book this hotel. Couldn't be worst.....
