 Very spacious complex, which unfortunately only houses a few buildings today. Fantastic view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αυτή η εκκλησία (παλιό τζαμί) βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του κάστρου. Ειδικά μετά τα έργα αναστήλωσης έχει γίνει υπέροχη ενώ εύκολα αναγνωρίζεται η πρώτη του χρήση ως τζαμί από το ιδιαίτερο σχήμα που έχουν οι καμάρες στο προστώο καθώς και από τους τρουλίσκους στην οροφή του. Όπως και να είναι το κτίριο είναι άκρως επιβλητικό και αξίζει την επίσκεψη.
This church (old mosque) is located in the center of the castle. Especially after the restoration works it has become wonderful while it is easy to recognize its first use as a mosque by the special shape of the arches on the facade as well as by the domes on its roof. However the building is extremely imposing and well worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα θαυμάσιο τέμπλο σε μια πελώρια, παντελώς "γυμνή" εκκλησία. Βρίσκεται μέσα στα όρια του Κάστρου της Πύλου, στη νότια πλευρά του.
A magnificent iconostasis in a huge, completely "naked" church. It is located within the borders of Pylos Castle, on its south side.

Eintritt 3€ ab und an gibt es dort auch Konzerte , das sollte jedoch erfragt werden da es keine große Ankündigung gibt . Die Telefonnummer dafür wie folgt : 0030 27230 22955 es wird Griechisch oder Englisch gesprochen . Ein wundervoller Ort direkt in der Bucht Pylos - Navarino . Ein Museum lädt zum träumen ein , herrliche Geschmeide , Töpferwaren vom feinsten erhalten , aus verschiedenen Ausgrabungen dieser Gegend . Ich habe selten so ein aufschlussreiches und Optisches kleines aber feines Museum gesehen .
A must '' to Kastro '' the castle and the museum, a feast for the eyes. Historically hard to beat in this area. Admission 3 € from time to time there are concerts there, but this should be asked as there is no big announcement. The telephone number for this is as follows: 0030 27230 22955 Greek or English is spoken. A wonderful place right in the bay of Pylos - Navarino. A museum invites you to dream, wonderful jewelry, the finest pottery from various excavations in this area. I have rarely seen such an informative and optical small but fine museum.
