★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Metoxi' is a colourful resort run by an incredible hospitable family. The rooms are simple but clean, all with airconditioning and some with a kitchenette. The view on the Libean sea is stunning and the sunrise behind Cretens White Mountainsi is simply breathtaking. You can eat local food as the owners spend much of their time preparing what the land has to offer them. All stews are delicious ans spiced with the famous cretean wild greens. You will be taxied to the resort on arrival at the Port and will be transported on request back at departure. You may also rent a car or a motorbike to travel around the small island. A visit well worth 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to relax, enjoy the nature and just be happy. The hosts are super nice, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very clean, the food at the taverna is the best in gavdos and the home made ice cream is delicious. I will definitely recommend it and come back.

The place where to stay if you want to visit Gavdos.
Placed on a top of a hill in the centre of the island, very quite place with an amazing view on the sea.
Rooms are spacious, fresh and very clean and price is very reasonable.
The Taverna is the best you can find in Gavdos, in the kitchen Efthia will cook in real time for you unvelivable delicious cretan food, portions are huge and price is really cheap.
Maria and is father are managing the place with a lot of love and passion and they can help you for everything you need.
Stay here is like to be an happy tourist in a natural paradise pampered by a warm and lovely family .......
Just be aware that for stay here you need a car or motobike but if you don't have you can rent directly here....
