Metsovo is located at Epirus Greece. It is a traditional village very close to Ioannina city. It is one of the most beautiful villages in the country. It has taverns and restaurants, cafes and it is full of nature. It attracts many tourists every year. Worth a visit.

A big square with an old church, huge old trees in a nice garden and some coffee houses directly near the square. Its a place to relax and to enjoy. A must to visit.

Great place to recharge after a 4h drive! Temperature is usually lower than nearby towns due to altitude and allows to cool down in a hot summer day! Many cafes and restaurants to relax with unique views of the village and the surrounding mountains!

Metsovo is really a destination you have to add to your trip in Greece!! Both at summer and at winter. You could even stay there for a weekend and enjoy the brilliant food, the hospitality and the unique and internationally awarded cheese the area has to offer!! Nothing more to say, than you simply have ro watch the stunning views yourself.

Metsovo square is located in the center of Metsovo. Mostly is difficult to find a parking spot but you can walk through the narrow stone roads and enjoy the view.

Metsovo square is a beautiful area with endless vistas. The cobble stone area is amazing and the souvenir shops are beautiful. There is some parking around it but you might have a bit of problem finding a spot. The view of the village from there is very nice nice too with the stone roofed homes and the chimneys smoking. It is an exceptional place to see.

Nice and shady, perfect for a “pit stop” from the highway on a hot summer day. The square has a lot of character and is surrounded by well maintained traditional buildings, lots of coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and stores selling local products. A bit more parking space wouldn’t hurt, or some better signage to get you back on the highway. Overall a great experience, very charming.
