Mikel Coffee - Leof. Andrea Siggrou 76

Mikel ... OK another franchise company that has nothing to do with the employees of this particular shop. The personnel of this Mikel near the metro station of Fix is unbelievable cruel and has not sense of responsibility. The manager should be fired.

Generally across Greece we had very good experience but this is about this 1 location only. We were there 30 mins before they were supposed to close and they said they were out of everything...!!! Not sure how that is possible and if it really happened that very poor planning on someone's part.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Mikel's was supposed to open at 7am, so I arrived at 7:12am ready for my morning cup of coffee. The doors were only half way up, and I was told they would not be open until around 8 by two gentlemen sitting outside ay the table of the business. Fortunately, there was a coffee shop right next door, so I ordered a small Americano and drank it as I waited for Mikel's to open (scanning facebook, and the rest of my morning routine.) As soon as I had my cup of coffee, they appeared open, so I drank my coffee thinking they would be my second cup. When I finished I walked in. The atmosphere was nice, and so I pull out my phone to let my travel partner know I would be late returning, and I am immediately told no pictures. A little thrown off, I look up to see a gentleman who said in a very demanding way "What do you want?". I replied a coffee, here in a second. I go to take a picture of the place and send it to who I was talking to so they could join me if they would like, and then was told no photos. This threw me off but I thought perhaps they do not take many photos here in Athens so I said okay. Then I turn to step in line, and was told to get out. Not asked, told. I said, "Is my money no good here?" holding up euros (coins in my hand) and was then ordered very insistently to leave. Their coffee may be good, but I was never allowed to find out. I am hoping this was a misunderstanding, but honestly, there are enough coffee shops nearby that I would personally recommend (especially the one right next to it, which was very polite, spoke relatively good english and had top notch coffee and offered free wifi). I literally felt like Mikel's staff saw me, and thought "damn American," and had little to no patiences for anything simply off that. I see no reason to waste any time figuring out if this was a misunderstanding. If you do go here, hopefully you do not have the same experience.

Coffee shop was close to my Air BnB. It felt safe. Staff didn’t engage much, but they were nice. I only ordered a cappuccino and croissant—both were delicious and priced reasonably.

My friends joke that this Mikel has become my new headquarters because I spend so much time working in there, besides im totally hooked on their chai lattes! And the guys are respectful and helpful. Made my day when they knew my usual. :)

Super friendly staff, good wifi and outlets to plug in your laptop.

Pretty cool coffee and iced special drinks, great price especially when you order during discount hours in the morning. Delivery is quite quick and friendly. Ordered several times, never had any issues. Their coffee with ice cream is super delicious! With lots of calories I guess :P
