R	Ruud Heskes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel. We had the first day a hotel room, the other six days an apartment. The complex is made of several buildings and no more than three stories high. It feels cosy. And it never feels crowded. There is always place at the pool, bar or restaurant. Drinks can be put on room number. For me it deserves five stars because of the people working here. As usual they make long days but they all are very friendly and put in endless efforts for all the guests.
V	Veljko Blagojevic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel but really not worth 4 star rating. Maybe compared to other 4 star hotels in the vicinity but feels like it falls short even then. I would have rated it higher but there were other things which bothered me. * Our room was located outside of the main building and in our room whenever a neighbor flushed water you could hear water in the pipes in the walls. Like dripping and rushing. * Air condition was not working good, it seems like thermostat didn't regulate properly. * We had half-board so at the evening we had dinner which was good BUT no drinks are allowed except to buy. Not a huge thing but the price for water is really shameful. 4.5€ for sparkling and 2.5€ for regular water. There is already a water machine which is covered so why not allow people to drink it? * Restaurant staff seem a bit inexperienced, yelling in front of guests and being overly loud. I worked in the industry and that is unacceptable, especially for a 4 star hotel.

P	Paul Kuipers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, room we had was a bit dated but everything was clean. Beds are good. Breakfast a 9, lots of choice and tasty. Little variety during dinner but everything tasted good 7.5. Drinks with dinner must be paid separately. Good service at reception 10. Located on a busy road so make sure you book a room at the back. Staff friendly and willing to make your holiday really fun. The beach is a 10-minute walk. Would go there again, value for money is good.
М	Мирослава Сотирова on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel “Minos” is relatively nice hotel 20mins walk from the old town of Rethymno and very close to the beaches. In general the hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming, rooms, bedsheets and towels are clean. The pool and the night bar are great place to relax. However there are some things that bothered us. 1.First night we came back late from the old town and there was no water in the bathroom. We couldn’t take a shower. During our last night we made late night swimming in the sea and when we came back what a surprise there was no water again! We had to fall asleep sweaty and salty, that was horrible. We asked the receptionist and he said there were some water problems in the entire city. In the morning we asked again, another receptionist and he said they clean hotel water system few times a week in the middle of the night!!! But, PLEASE, let the people know that fact. HOW COULD YOU LEAVE GUETS WITHOUT WATER!? What would happen if we have some serious problem and we need water!? 2. Food - mediocre. The breakfast doesn’t suit 4star hotel. Boiled wieners, canned beans, frozen pastries and some chemical “fresh” juices. It is a shame to have such a mediocre food while Crete has one of the richest cuisines and soil.

The rooms clean towels and bedding are changed regularly, the staff are brilliant always there for you, the only thing that let's hotel down is the hot breakfast I was there for two weeks and only ever received a Bearley warm breakfast which is a shame because I really liked this hotel.
