MINOS VILLAGE

in a quiet picturesque road 10 minutes from beach. 3 excellent restaurants within minutes. minos village was spotlessly clean, very quiet with friendly staff.

Great rooms, great service, great pool and a bar offers a great variety of tasty lunch options. Located within a few hundred meters of some of the top rated resturants in the city, a buss station with busses to the city center every 20 minutes and a beautifull beach Minos Village is a hotel I recommend wholeheartedly.

The service level is excellent. We appreciated the rooms and during sleeping hours the place is really quiet. The pool is nice and clean. The restaurant staff provides extremly good service and is english speaking. The cleaning service is very service minded and take care of details. The location is close to several nice restaurants as well as the sea and bus stop for local bus to Chania.

Beautiful modern apartment, those with balcony over looking pool have the best view, it's a good location, with loads of restaurants in walking distance, there's only a limited number of parking bays, but parking on the roadside is possible and it's a one way road.

We arrived late on a Sunday night and had been told in advance that as the reception would be closed that instructions on how to get to our rooms would be on the door. When we arrived, the instructions were easy to find and follow but as we had arrived before the bar had closed, the bar man (John?) came out and showed us (and 2 other couples) to our rooms anyway. On arrival in our room we saw that we had been upgraded from a studio to a 1 room apartment. The rooms were very clean and a good size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We did get a chance to see a studio room before we left and this also seemed a good size and we would also have been happy to stay in one of these. All of the hotel staff from the receptionists to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff. Sifis and John? who worked at the bar were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in our comfort, remembering what drinks and food we liked to order and at what time. We did eat a couple of times at the pool bar and I would like to recommend the Cretan Salad made by Sifis. John was very good at making my new favourite cocktail - Zombie although with 4 different rums I wasn't able to drink too many. The pool area was very clean and quiet although it did start to get busier towards the end of the week (we stayed at the beginning of June so there weren't many children). The hotel is 5 minutes from the main part of town and there are about 5 restaurants within 2 minutes. All in all we had a wonderful time and would happily return to both the area and the hotel.

For the price you pay and given the location this place is amazing. Beautiful modern rooms, beds are really nice and comfy, the pool is fantastic and very child friendly and service is great. Nothing is too much for Sifis who runs the food and bar and is always happy to have a chat. All receptionists very helpful and friendly. Just a short walk to beach and shops you simply can't go wrong.

Nice place, clean room, very comfortable beds. The location is good in close to amenities but yet very quite. There are some very nice taverns nearby. The pool area is a bit average. the pool is a smaller than what we expected and in the afternoon there's no sun. But overall is a nice place with friendly staff. We only had breakfast here, it was ok.

A nice little quiet hotel, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are cleaned every day and the bed is made clean if you do not say that they can skip a day. They are happy to help if, you want to go to sights or want to know about good restaurants. Good breakfast with everything from scrambled eggs to yoghurt. Very quiet area, but close to the main road where there are nice restaurants and shops if you want to cook in the apartment. Unfortunately the rooms are not well equipped with kitchen utensils. There is a small bar in the hotel, which also serves food. Highly recommend their Greek pizza! Very nice bartender who always makes sure you get the best! Small pool, but there was never a shortage of space despite that. Clean and nice everywhere. Stayed at this nice hotel for two weeks in May and really enjoyed it. I'll be back!
