★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I visited Mykonos on a cruise in May, and came across Misento while while wondering through the port town. We stepped inside and were amazed by the handmade jewelry we saw. We spent time talking with the owner and jeweler Thanasis Misentos -- a very personable and gracious, and as we learned as we wondered his shop, a very talented jeweler. We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary, and decided to purchase new his and her wedding bands -- strands of silver accented with a strand of gold. Thanasis re-sized the rings while we went to lunch (at Captains, which I highly recommend), and we left Misento with a beautiful way for us to remember our day on Mykonos. Please stop in Misento next time you are on Mykonos, even if just to look at the beautiful pieces of jewelry that Thanasis has created.
