★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious dishes.. wonderful and warm staff! The prices were very good and the quality of the food was five star. I loved how they served the wine straight from the wooden barrels and generally the decor was like you were taking part in an old black and white greek movie! Will definitely be going back again!

The winter taverna is a place to go to to enjoy a traditional Greek taverna with barrels of wine and typical Greek music not live. You may see Greek celebrities dining there and get a selfie or joke with them. The service is fast and tastes have been e the same since the taverna opened back in 1932 enriched with other dishes. Prices are exceptionally low and portions are quite big. Piece I'd advice: order various small plates than get a main dish to try a variety of tastes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and value. My companion and I shared several items on the menu. Almost all were wonderful!
The pork with wine was "melt in your mouth" tender and tasty. Meatballs were amazing as also the saganaki. The one thing we have had better was the crab salad. It was okay but not great.
I will come back again for sure. And try a different salad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place (old κουτούκι) plates where tasty and good quality. Have to make a reservation as it gets very busy. Went in Saturday, so after the place got packed it got quite loud. So choose the time to go. The place has some nice old stuff too.
