Mitromara's Cave - VRV3+74 Mitromara's Cave

Σχετικά δύσκολο να το εντοπίσεις λόγω μη διακριτού, μέχρι πρότινος, μονοπατιού. Σήμερα αν ακολουθήσεις τους "κούκους" μετά τον δασικό δρόμο θα αποζημιωθείς από την ομορφιά της σπηλιάς.

A beautiful cave, not too big and quite challenging to access, at an altitude of 580 metres. Hidden between trees you have to search around to locate it. Once you do, you have to carefully descent the rocks, fitting between the narrow spaces created by them. No rope is necessary, yet it still is difficult to go down the main chamber.( I would avoid taking a kid with me there, due to the difficulty). Apart from the main chamber, a secondary and dramatically smaller one can be accessed through a crevice only a few can pass through. Inside the cave some stalactite and stalagmite formations can be seen, however they are nothing extraordinary. Some animal bones are also present, scattered around the cave (some animal could have fallen in?). In conclusion, it's a beautiful, but small cave without anything special to see. If someone likes adventures and really doesn't care about it, it's the perfect destination for him/her. A 2½hours hike, beginning from 37.893580,23.787710 is also essential!
