★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην είσοδο της Γενικής Αστυνομικής Διεύθυνσης Αθηνών βρίσκεται μαρμάρινο μνημείο εις μνήμην των υπέρ καθήκοντος πεσόντων αστυνομικών.
Στην κορυφή του φέρει το σήμα της ελληνικής αστυνομίας.
Το θέμα του γλυπτού είναι μια ανάγλυφη αναπαράσταση κίονα στον οποίο είναι ακουμπισμένη η ελληνική σημαία και το αστυνομικό πηλήκιο.
Στη βάση του έργου βρίσκεται και μια ανάγλυφη διακόσμηση δάφνης.
Ανηγέρθη το 2002 από την Ένωση Αστυνομικών Υπαλλήλων Αττικής, επί προεδρίας Παναγιώτη Σπηλιόπουλου.
Το έργο είναι δημιούργημα της γλύπτριας Καλλιόπης Κουτηφάρη.
 At the entrance of the General Police Directorate of Athens there is a marble monument in memory of the fallen police officers.
At the top it bears the badge of the Greek police.
The subject of the sculpture is a relief representation of a column on which the Greek flag and the police cap rest.
At the base of the project is a relief laurel decoration.
It was built in 2002 by the Attica Police Officers Association, under the chairmanship of Panagiotis Spiliopoulos.
The work is the work of the sculptor Kalliopi Koutifari.
