★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο πρώτος Έλληνας αξιωματικός που έπεσε ηρωικά το 1940 στα υψώματα του χωριού. Προς τιμήν του τοποθετήθηκε σε πλατεία που πήρε το όνομά του, προτομή του και αεροσκάφος F-104.Καθε χρόνο γίνονται στο χωριό Βασιλειαδα εκδηλώσεις στη μνήμη του.
 The first Greek officer to fall heroically in 1940 on the hills of the village. In his honor he was placed in a square that took his name, his bust and an F-104 aircraft. Every year in the village of Vassiliada events are held in his memory.
