If you are lucky you might get your self into a live or just grab the guitar and start scratching...there are a lot of regulars here some of them willing to exchange stories with you! Can you spot them; Moka is a place for friendly gatherings so bring your gang!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time yesterday. Lovely hosts and cheery clientele. A place with heart. The Merida fish was fried in beautiful olive oil and was just perfect. Great fava and very reasonably priced. Save us a seat.

I was taken here and was seriously impressed by the authenticity, simple food but very fresh produce and made really well. The decor isn't anything fancy and you would probably walk past thinking nothing of it, but it's packed with Greeks always because it's an authentic cafe that is one of my faves in Athens. Very impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed just around the corner and this place was always packed. We went there on our first evening in Athens and spent the whole time there. It's got great mix of people, old guys sitting around drinking ouzo and singing to the songs on the hi-fi and groups of friends sitting on the street with food and beers. We ate there twice, the fava, sausage, salad and fried small fish were all excellent. The staff were really friendly and work hard. Everyone needs a place like this in their neighbourhood.
