Ι	Ι Τα on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφος χώρος προσευχής και ευλάβειας. Πολύ περιποιημένα και καθαρά όλα τα σημεία της Μονής, μέσα και έξω από το Ναό. Πλούσια φιλοξενία πολύ θερμή υποδοχή. Ιερά λείψανα αγίων που θαυματουργού. Η Αγία κάρα του Αγίου Παρθενίου, επισκόπου Λαμψάκου, προστάτη των καρκινοπαθών και η αγία κάρα της Αγίας Παρασκευής. Πολλές ευλογίες, όμορφες εμπειρίες. Αξίζει σίγουρα η επίσκεψη. Very beautiful place of prayer and reverence. Very neat and clean all parts of the Monastery, inside and outside the Temple. Rich hospitality very warm welcome. Holy relics of miraculous saints. The Holy Cara of Agios Parthenios, Bishop of Lampsacus, protector of cancer patients and the Holy Cara of Agia Paraskevi. Many blessings, beautiful experiences. Definitely worth the visit.

N	Nikos Nikolaou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Ιερή Μονή Μακρυμάλλης Παναγίας Θεοτόκου βρίσκεται 7 χλμ από τα Ψαχνά Ευβοίας. Εξαιτίας των αλλεπάλληλων καταστροφών που υπέστη, δεν σώθηκαν γραπτές μαρτυρίες για τα πρώιμα χρόνια της ιστορίας της, γι’ αυτό και όσα αναφέρονται στην περίοδο εκείνη στηρίζονται στην προφορική παράδοση. Σύμφωνα με αυτήν, κτίτορές της υπήρξαν δύο αδέλφια που είχαν εκεί κοντά τις καλύβες των ποιμνίων τους. Κάθε βράδυ «έβλεπαν φως στον απέναντι βράχο». Όταν πήγαν στο σημείο εκείνο, βρήκαν της εικόνα της Παναγίας. Την έφεραν στις καλύβες τους, έκτισαν πρόχειρο προσκυνητάρι όπου την τοποθέτησαν και άναβαν μπροστά της το καντήλι. Αργότερα απαρνήθηκαν τα εγκόσμια, έγιναν μοναχοί και έκτισαν την μονή, περί τον 12ο αιώνα. The Monastery of Makrymallis Panagia Theotokou is located 7 km from Psachna Evia. Because of the successive catastrophes it suffered, no written testimonies were saved for the early years of its history, so all that relates to that period are based on oral tradition. According to her, her builders were two brothers who had their flock huts nearby. Every night they "saw light on the opposite rock". When they got to that place, they found the picture of the Virgin Mary. They brought her to their huts, made a makeshift pilgrimage where they placed her and lit the candle in front of her. Later the world renounced, became monks and built the monastery around the 12th century.
