Αξίζει έστω μια φορά για να δείτε όλο το νησί από το ψηλότερο σημείο καθώς επίσης και να δείτε τη δουλειά που έχουν κάνει οι άνθρωποι που τη συντηρούν!! A calm and inspiring atmosphere wrap you against the backdrop of this beautiful island and the blue water of the Aegean Sea. The monastery, built on the remains of an ancient Acropolis, is located at the highest point on the island of Sifnos (680 meters), about 2 km west of Apollonia (the capital of Sifnos). It can be reached in about a walk of an hour, on a steep and relatively difficult mountain trail. Every year on July 19, a festival is held at the site, in memory of the Prophet Elias of Psilos with the participation of local people and tourists who were lucky... Be careful not to get confused with a similarly named monastery (Prophet Elias of Troulaki) located at the top of a hill, about 4 km north of this monastery.
