Η μόνη διαθέτει κελιά που μπορείς να μείνεις μετά από συνεννόηση με τον επίτροπο. Αυτές τις μέρες είναι σχεδόν όλα γεμάτα από ντόπιους και από κάποιους που έρχονται από τη Κίμωλο. Η παραλία από κάτω από τη μονή, μετά από 500 μέτρα περίπου χωματόδρομου, είμαι καλουτσικη. Η καλύτερη είναι η διπλανή της που πας με τα πόδια από μικρό μονοπάτι. Amazing convent. We made preparations for the 25/9/2019 which is the festival. The only one available is cells that you can stay in after consulting with the commissioner. These days they are almost all filled with locals and some coming from Kimolos. The beach below the monastery, after about 500 meters of dirt road, I am rubber. The best is next door to a short walk.

Nel fine settimana che precede tale data il monastero apre i battenti e si trasforma da cattedrale nel deserto a centro dell'Isola. Parecchi abitanti di Milos chiudono le loro attività per recarsi con le loro famiglie a festeggiare in questo complesso monastico. Dormono nelle vecchie celle, trascorrono momenti di convivialità con musica, cibo e quanto altro. Un'esperienza unica che abbiamo avuto la fortuna di scoprire per puro caso. On September 25th the patron Saint John is celebrated. On the weekend before that date, the monastery opens its doors and transforms itself from a cathedral into the desert into the center of the island. Several inhabitants of Milos close their activities to go with their families to celebrate in this monastic complex. They sleep in the old cells, spend moments of conviviality with music, food and anything else. A unique experience that we were lucky enough to discover by pure chance.

Attention à y aller avec un bon véhicule (quad ou suv) Lost at the end of a dirt road of more than 10km, allows to see our panorama, goats but a little disappointed by the monastery. Be careful to go with a good vehicle (quad or suv)
