★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένδοξα τιμημένα ιερά και αγιασμενα χώματα. Χώρος άκρως ιστορικοτατος που έπαιξε τεράστιο ρόλο στον εθνικο-απελευθερωτικο αγώνα του 1821. Υπήρξε το ησυχαστήριο αλλά και ορμητήριο του κατ'εμε ίσως πιο θαρραλεου, πιο τολμηρού και του πιο γενναίου αγωνιστή-οπλαρχηγου-εθνεγερτη, που πήρε μέρος στον αγώνα ενάντια στον τουρκικό ζυγο.. Τον ΠΑΠΑΦΛΕΣΣΑ. Που με υπέρμετρο το πατριωτικό το εθνικιστικό, και το χριστιανικό φρόνημα στην καρδιά του, και υπέρμετρη επίσης δίψα για απελευθέρωσης της Πατρίδος μας, έπεσε ΗΡΩΙΚΑ μαζί με 300 περίπου λεβεντες αγωνιστές στο Μανιακι. Δόξα και Τιμή σε ΟΛΟΥΣ τους Ήρωες προγόνους μας. Αξιζει να το επισκεφτεί ο καθενας. Προσωπικα έχω πάει 6 φορες.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μια εκκλησια μες το πράσινο με μεγάλη ιστορία. Πετροκτιστη διατηρειτεα και πραγματικα απιστευτη. Έχει και πηγάδι με ποσιμο νερο ακριβως δίπλα.
A green church with a long history. Petrochemist kept you and truly unbelievable. It also has a well of drinking water right next to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful surroundings, with a very old monastery that travels you back kin time. The place is filled with history and you just feel it in the air. If you are in the area its a place you must visit, and if you are up for the task you can get their by hiking through the woods from the nearby villages.
